Crystal Cave Level Design WIP
I'm in the process of making a small crystal cave level. Using the lowpoly cavern asset pack in Unreal Engine, I've created and dressed a small space that ideally would allow for players to explore and collect items important to gameplay, possibly interact with or battle a small enemy, and continue on to the next level through a crystal portal. Due to the smallness of the space, I could also see it being utilized as a fast travel point that would lead a larger cavern tunnel system to an outdoor, forest level environment. I originally created this to satisfy a level design class assignment, but I plan to continue working on it so that it satisfies another course in which we're creating a style guide for a potential game. On completion, we will be using screenshots of the final level on our Environments section as well as a UI MockUp example where we'll overlay our player character as well as iconography in an attractive HUD.
